Andrea, Thanks for sharing the book, yes, I discovered I can even read backwards! Holylujah!Any chance you will come to the New Song Worship Center this Friday to sing at the Coffee House? You would get the chance to look over the grounds for “A Worship Experience” in March, 2011. I hope you got the flyer I sent to your church e-mail and signed up to participate in corporate worship. I loved this book too! Check out the study guide that goes along with it. I find it helpful as I try to glean all that Lyons is saying. You can find it at qideas.org.

Andrea,
That is a pretty amazing detail about your life and a great example of “seed planting”. Just shows how God can use a mere 20 minutes and a “casual” interaction to further the Kingdom. Thank you for not squandering that seed and putting the needed practice. It is such a pleasure to watch you on stage, giving it all back.

I just read this and it reminded me of an ongoing struggle I am also currently battling as if we need more reminders. I am working on this what I thought to be a revolutionary idea. In a nutshell, I started working on putting this concept into action with my first experiment at Wal-Mart. It invlolved me letting someone cut in front of me in line at checkout. Wouldn’t you know that after waiting there until I went from 5th in line to next, noone came in behind me. finally these two gay guys got behind me as I was moments from checking out. Even premeditated, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Instead, I was filled with these feelings that they would reject my kind act. Man, I am praying that 2011 is a new start for me. Shoot, I am praying that each day is that as I press on to grow in Him and to grow in expressing the love he has placed inside of me that yearns to escape to those around me.
